Epping District Council have announced that some 17 bids were received for the redevelopment of the St Johns Road redevelopment scheme and these are under consideration. It is hoped that that a Supermarket, three screen cinema, office space and some residential properties will feature along with a Town Square and additional car parking in a finalised scheme.
